Prop the phone up and go. The camera watches your body and counts push-ups, squats, sit-ups, jumping jacks, high knees and lunges.

The question is read to you and you say the answer. Hands stay on the floor, eyes stay off the screen.

Push-ups

It counts you honestly.
Counting reps from a phone on the floor is mostly a fight with 2D projection. The camera is at a random angle, the far limb is hidden, and everybody’s range of motion is different.
Calibrated to you
It tracks the range you’re actually moving through, so a shallow push-up still counts once it’s consistently shallow. Two signals per exercise, blended by confidence, so a bad camera angle doesn’t kill the count.
It says when it can’t see
“Back up.” “Can’t see your legs.” Better than silently missing reps. And tap-to-log is always there if you’d rather not argue with a camera.
Graded on meaning
Synonyms, abbreviations and near-misses count. “Mitochondria” and “the mitochondria” are the same answer, and you’re out of breath. Type or tap instead if you’d rather.
Misses come back
Get one wrong and it returns before the session ends, with the why attached. Nail it four times and it won’t be back for a week. Spaced repetition, running quietly underneath.
Race, don’t revise.
Same reps, same questions, both of you at once. First to finish the last round wins.

It races honestly
The bot counts its own reps and is scored by exactly the same rules you are. It never gets one bent in its favour — and it’s paced against a real camera-counted rep, not a machine that could do it instantly.
